Who is DJ Marco Paez (Palm Beach House) ?

2001:

As house music echoed through the buildings of a Downtown Miami music festival put on by Club Space, DJ Marco Paez discovered his passion, and his future. He spent the next few years honing his craft at various events in Tallahassee, Fl while attending Florida State University. 

It was here where he discovered the art of telling a story through records at area clubs, underground warehouse parties and of course the infamous “secret lake” deep in the area’s national park forests. These were magical times as Marco also travelled the country attending various festivals, warehouse events, and club nights learning all he could from the world’s top djs in unique settings. 

Highlights included convincing his girlfriend to ride with him 1,500 miles across the country so they could break into a festival in Hollywood, CA (ft. Paul Oakenold, Deep Dish, and BT) on New Year’s Eve while underage, driving through an actual rainbow, and the week he spent by himself living directly on the beach in Destin, Fl. 

After the waters settled in 2007 Marco returned to his hometown of West Palm Beach and picked up residencies at the Underground, as well as top area destination Hotel Nightclub. 

It was here where he began putting together a live house act creating something the local scene had never seen before as they put on shows under the moniker "Palm Beach House". 

Soon after Monarchy Nightclub opened taking the reign from Hotel as the area’s top club bringing in top 100 djs week after week. 

It was here where Marco got to play alongside many greats who he had previously gone to see touring throughout the states.

Currently he is putting together all of this experience into his original productions blending current elements of deep and tech house sounds with the progressive flow and emotional landscape of the late 90s and early 2000s.
